She has written and spoken on her novel, Length of Days - The Age of Silence, Prayer Therapy, Dyspraxia the Hidden Disability, Five Life Lessons: In Weight Loss, and Counseling Clients of Faith. She has self published A Magnificat For A New Millennium (A book used with groups in Prayer Therapy), Healing The Injured Church, and Katy The Unique - Living With Dyspraxia. Her articles have appeared in The Christian Home, The Sunday Suppliment of The Indianapolis Star, and several professional journals. She has taught in the public school and has been an adjunct professor in psychology at University of St. Francis, in Fort Wayne and Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana. She has directed the counseling centers at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana and Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana. Dr. Rapp wrote the presentation book, with the help of a committee, for the AIDS Education task Force at Taylor University and presented that material at a conference for colleges on AIDS education. Dr. Rapp has just completed writing a futuristic novel that takes place in 2110 that has as its theme - reverence for life.
Her articles for Suite 101 cover several areas. She has lost eighty pounds in the last two years and many of the articles cover apects of weight loss. She and her husband, Bill, have three birth children and three adopted children.The last two were orginally their grandchildren. They were adopted as infants. Dr. Rapp has written an article on Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and is developing a book on the topic.
